She has long hair and in one of her tutorials, she shows you how to make a fake bob, which is great for those days where you want your hair to look different, but you don't want to cut it. That's part of the reason i'm growing my hair longer these days, after finding that tutorial, whenever I feel like I want short hair i'll just do my hair that way.

You may also try to look for things that will add some sort of volume to your hair at the top, or else it'll be oddly unbalanced..

There are plenty of easy to do Back to School hairstyle ideas available. However, my personal favourite (as I too, have hip length hair) - would be the twisted headband!
