I have a friend that dyes her hair alot tons of crazy colors, she uses manic panic that she gets online from hottopic, I havent seen it looking nasty or fady at all so i would think thats your best bet :)

I would advise you to experiment with semipermanent hair coloring first...products from L' Oreal called Colour Pulse did magic to the locks of a friend...you could try them if you find them at the local cosmetic stores..
