okay well of course it will hurt to get it pierced, all piercings hurt but it depends on how well you handle pain, to me it hurt but not that bad... your supposed to leave it in for like 3 or 4 months untill you can take it out because if you dont wait it can easily close up in the first 15 seconds of taking it out... if it doesnt your reallly lucky. Your NEVER supposed to take it out for a long time, they're not like ear piercings they close up super quickly, your always supposed to have one in, when you take it out its supposed to be just to change it... and mine shows if i wear a tight shirt, you see the little ball.... hope this helped!

Also don't forget if you get it pierced who is going to see it? Are you going to be wearing crop tops so you can show off your stomach? Is it for the summer when you where swim wear? Also think about the locations you hang out or where your main focus is. If you are a church girl, would you feel comfortable with everyone knowing you got one. It just really depends on you as a person. I couldn't get one because I'm afraid it will get infected like my friends did. Very gross if it does!
