Hi, your boyfriend's right, you are beautiful. You don't fit society's stupid ideal of 'beauty' (I say it's stupid because everyone who is so-called beautiful looks exactly the same, with the tiny pre-pubescent bodies and the surgically created noses, sculpted to look the same as everyone else's).

I don't fit that ideal either. It's hard to have good self-esteem and see ourselves as beautiful when we are constantly told that beauty is having certain features and certain measurements and certain shapes. We notice that we don't look like that, so we must not be beautiful then! : /

It makes me angry, that only people who look a certain way are called beautiful; that apparently makes everyone else (99% of the world's population) UNbeautiful or ugly. How insulting is that?!

Anyway, that's my rant. lol

Most likey on this site everyones gonna call you beautiful because thats why we're here to help others and learn about what makes us beautiful. I personally think everyone has something beautiful about them . If you bf tells you you're beautiful that should be the only thing that matters and even if he didn't as long as you believe you are , everything will be a lot more happier because you finally accepted yourself, which is hard I know. And maybe you do and you're just curious about what others people think , thats cool . so that being said I really love your hair and eye color :)
