I think the mascara should be ok provided your dad doesnt open it and stores it in a cool place.
As for highlighter the VS is said to be really good (haven't tried it though) I use a foundation 3 shades lighter than my normal one and then top it off with vaseline.
Under eye I like a creamy type(like Revlon)

If is stored in a cool dry place or just say a good storage,it would dry up,I suggest that you visit some skin Care online sites for make up suggestions,we can't really do much since you don't have a picture.

i have some makeup questions
i can't get my hands on my fave mascara here so i asked my dad to buy it for me and bring it home when he goes on vacation here. my first question is, will mascara dry up even if you haven't opened it yet? i mean, it's a limited edition offer and if my dad hoards it in his closet for about 3 months, will i still be able to use it? second, i need a really good makeup highlighter and under eye concealer for graduation so please ladies help me :D
