The divas both love MAC's Russian Red lipstick – a cult favorite among makeup lovers everywhere.
Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga are both wearing their lipstick creations in the ad campaign: Lauper's shade is a light reddish coral, while Lady Gaga's a light bubble-gum pink. The lipsticks will be part of the MAC Viva Glam makeup collection, named for the women who created them – Viva Glam Cyndi and Viva Glam Gaga - with their signatures on the lipstick tubes.
The lipsticks will retail for $14 and are already available in MAC stores in North America.
Every cent of the earnings from the MAC Viva Glam lipsticks will be donated to the HIV/AIDS affected children, men and women. Since its founding, the MAC AIDS fund has raised over $160 million to combat HIV/AIDS.
Previous spokespeople have included Mary J. Blige, Fergie, Elton John, Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson.
