I've been wanting to ombre my hair for a while now and my mom finally gave in. Any advice?

I have dark brown hair that has some caramely highlights from the summer sun. I don't want to bleach my hair, but it's my first time ever dying my hair with a product. Any advice on what products to use? Thanks guys :)

So I think ombre is a fabulous look if it's done right, but if not it can look pretty bad - like, "omg, look at her roots!!." So if you can afford it, I would really recommend a professional job.If your stylist does colors well, then go to him/her. But Places like Hair Cutter are not that expensive and some of their stylists are really good. If you can't do that, I would get a friend to help because it's hard to do the nice transitions by yourself. As for products, I think Garnier and L'Oreal are really good. Lots of nice colors and less bleach than some others. Good luck. I can't wait 4 the pictures!! xD

I think you should use products that have less peroxide and ammonia since these ingredients can damage your locks...I think anything from Loreal and Matrix will do magic to your locks...:)
