it would be alot easier with a photo of you but anyway, i think you could clip back your fringe and push it up for volume? do this on the side with your fringe AND on the other side, add hairspray XD or you can leave your fringe down, heres a pic which..kinda covers what i mean or may give you an idea :) please can you take a look at my question :D its in hair and scroll down and its called "would this style suit me?" xxxx

I would say learn to curl it, pinning it up in various ways will help as well...aslo if you get a holding gel, you can style it in an interesting faux-hawk or add some volume and details to it
