With the 2013 Golden Globes Awards coming up, we've thought to
round up some of the hottest appearances that heated up the red
carpet throughout the years. The list features a few famous names
that managed to impress the audience with their show-stealing red
carpet hairstyles. From natural and voluminous to chic and
sophisticated, Celebsville definitely loves to hit the red carpet
in style. So, here are the nominations for Best Golden Globes
Hairstyles of All Time! Have a look and tell us the winner!
It has already been proven that very few women can pull off a
sexy pixie haircut. And Natalie Portman is one of the celebrities
that definitely knows how to rock a shortie. The actress proved
this in 2006 when she teamed her crop with a vintage Chanel dress.
A surprisingly elegant appearance was Sienna Miller at the Golden
Globes in 2007. Sienna opted for sweet and utterly feminine
milkmaid braids
that looked both romantic and posh.
Timeless, chic and elegant, an updo is a classic that never goes
out of style. And celebrities love it! Nominated for her role in
'Proof', pregnant Gwyneth Paltrow won the spotlight in 2006 with a
textured updo, radiant complexion and a cream Elizabethan-inspired
Balenciaga gown. Actress Sandra Bullock also makes it on the Best
Golden Globes Hairstyles of All Time list with her relaxed side
chignon that worked flawlessly with her vanilla Dior dress.
Indeed, celebrities seem to understand that a well-chosen updo has
the incredible power of adding a silver-screen glamour to any
appearance. For the 2007 Golden Globes edition, Angelina Jolie
opted for a sleek bouffant updo and a gray pleated St. John gown
for a unique old Hollywood flare. In 2011, Eva Longoria channeled
the ultimate Parisian chicness with a classic French twist that
gave the actress a true femme fatale flare.
When it comes to seriously glam looks, Jennifer Lopez is an expert.
At the 2011 Golden Globe
Awards, the gorgeous starlet looked absolutely ethereal
with glossy, retro pinned back curls and a dreamy feathered
Marchesa dress. Not to mention the sparkly barrette that looked so
romantic! The same year, Dianna Agron embraced a vintage 'do with
hair pinned at the back of the head. The '40s smooth and pretty
curls almost distracted our attention from that breathtaking J.
Mendel dress!
Okay, so Jennifer Aniston seems to have better things to do than
spending time in the salon. The actress always flaunts her soft
tresses proving that natural can also be sexy. Such is the case of
the 2010 Golden Globes edition where Jennifer Aniston's
tousled hairstyle took center stage perfectly complementing
her Valentino gown. Another celebrity that dazzled with her sultry
locks was Sofia Vergara in 2011. Yes, those glamorous curls were
stunning and elegant!
