The queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese is preparing to launch
her new lingerie collection titled Von Follies by Dita Von Teese.
The collection which will hit Australian Target stores beginning
February 8, 2012, just in time for Valentine's Day, is going to
become a must have for every vintage lover. With a high dose of
sexiness, this burlesque style lingerie collection will feature 26
pieces that will feature Dita's favorite piece, the over-wire bra,
high-cut briefs, G-strings, garters, bustiers, lovely chemises and
corsets.
With mesh, lace and sateen insertions, the highly expected lingerie
collection signed Dita Von Teese exudes sexiness and glamor
altogether, so it's surely going to conquer plenty of hearts.
According to WWD, Murray Chenery, general manager of marketing for
Target Australia, said with regards to the upcoming collection
that:
“The product mix is a true reflection of Dita’s own personal style
and Target is confident it will resonate with customers who are
inspired by beautiful, affordable and great quality garments .”
Apparently, the burlesque celebrity is very pleased with the
outcome of the collection which she intended to be sexy,
comfortable and suitable for women of various sizes. She said
that:
“It was important to me to accomplish the task of making these
beautiful things in sizes that can make any woman feel sexy and
glamorous, and I'm very proud that we have been able to do that,
while keeping prices affordable.”
The collection is designed to accentuate a woman's lovely
silhouette in seductive yet elegant manner, that was the essence of
the sultry 1950's pin up girl which managed to conquer without a
trace of vulgarity.
Apparently, plans are to extend the line throughout 2012 in Target
Stores as the brand is prepared to meet global demands.
