You've got to love the new Tommy Hilfiger spring 2012 shoe collection. Our ultimate crush? A pair of penny loafers, reinvented, with elegant wooden high heels, in eye-catching colors and super-cool combinations of materials. Check them out and pick your fave!
At the latest Tommy Hilfiger show for the
designer's spring 2012
collection, two large side-set screens zoomed in real-time
footage of shoes, accessories and exquisite details.
The result? We're officially head over heels with those chunky
wooden-heeled penny loafers in amazing punchy colors and dazzling
prints.
Called Pop Prep, the Tommy Hilfiger collection for spring 2012 was
fresh and playful with an effortlessly chic, modern preppy feeling.
An impressive and joyous exhibition of showstopping shades of red,
orange, yellow, pink and turquoise, patterns, camouflage, stripes
and refined color blocking.
There was a mesmerizing explosion of colors and lots of preppy
Americana pieces. Plaid bikini bottoms teamed with ponchos, '60s
shirt dresses and coats, '70s jumpsuits, masculine-inspired classic
pieces, cropped pants, cable-knit sweaters worn over rugby shirts.
And those attention-grabbing colorblock tote bags, alluring boots,
comfy flat sandals and oh-so-fashionable high-heeled loafers made
everyone dream of sunny spring days.
Coming in a wide range of colors and materials, the famous Tommy
Hilfiger loafers were reinvented and given an uber-covetable touch,
perfect to finish off an office-appropriate look or a casual,
daytime ensemble. If you like your heels high, the collection also
features chic sandals in bold hues. Still, if tottering around in
killer heels is not your taste, you can always count on a pair of
foot-friendly flat sandals.
