Burberry Prorsum Winter Storms Capsule Collection

Burberry Prorsum has launched its capsule collection called "Winter Storms", which is a part of the Burberry London collection. The famous Burberry trench coat, but also numerous accessories, such as bags, scarves, umbrellas, or eyewear can be found in this capsule collection. Therefore, get ready to be stylish and trendy despite the bad, stormy weather outside.

First, there was Thomas Burberry, a tailor’s apprentice, who founded the brand back in 1856. Then, Thomas Burberry & Sons made their debut in London’s West End. The house that became the outfitter for the first explorers to reach the South Pole in 1911, and by 1914, adapted its coats for WWI soldiers resulting the famous trench coat, and dressed Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in 1961, built their impeccable image throughout time becoming one of the most powerful names in the fashion industry. Now a registered trademark, the Burberry classic check" was first used as a lining for the Burberry trench coat in 1924.

The new “Winter Storms” capsule collection from Burberry London has a modern, young, rock touch proposing emblematic pieces of the brand such as the classic Burberry trench coat in black or white with beautifully studded collars for both men and women, but also knitwear, denim, leather jackets, and different accessories. This special capsule collection has ready to wear items for men, women and children.

The “Winter Storms” collection can easily be recognized after its unique chic-Gothic feeling, the typical black and white check motif, studs, zips, leather straps and the ultra-black leather. The accessories include sunglasses, bags, scarves and umbrellas. The colors used are those in the Burberry signature palette, mostly neutrals, such as black, white, stormy white, gray, and dark nickel metal.

The capsule collection contains leather aviator jackets for men, quilted leather or patent leather biker jackets for women, studded cardigans for women, large studded hobo bags, and also amazing large studded python tote bags, black and gray wallets, studded leather belts, studded suede platform ankle boots, gloves, cashmere scarves, studded umbrellas, and beautiful jewelry, such as necklaces and rings. For children, you can find trench coats, jackets, skirts, dresses, satchels, rain boots, and many more.

Burberry also made a photoshoot in the middle of a “snow storm” specially created for this new capsule collection. Therefore, it is more than clear that we can still be trendy and look flawless despite the bad weather outside. The “Winter Storms” collection is available starting with October 5 in select Burberry stores and online on Burberry's official web site.
