Last year, Bottega Veneta celebrated 30 years of the Knot. It seems like a whole lot of history behind these clutches, right? It surely does. The history of this elegant clutch begins with a different image than today, when the Knot was a rectangular crystal clasp. Ok, yes, nowadays it still maintains the simple, chic style that made history in the fashion world.
Tomas Maier, designer at Bottega Veneta, created the most
delicious, elegant and beautiful collection for this fall. It’s all
about beads and crystals leather and details.
We loved the Bottega Veneta Nero Galuchat Knot, a true piece of
art, with a stunning design, delicate yet complex.
Its price is $3800, but for those of you who are looking for a
royal accessory, this just might do the trick!
With the shell covered in Galuchat, the skin of the stingray, the
clutch has a manually metal rounded frame, and it features 280
faceted studs.
Royal, yet edgy, this clutch weights a little bit more than
expected, due to all the precious stones on it.
From the fall/winter collection 2009-2010, we also liked Karung
Toile Knot (left) which comes in the different shades, whiskey,
truffle and grape.
The Intrecciato Antique Silver Knot, ($7950), the Elephant
Intrecciato Satin Knot ($1150), which comes in elephant and lilac
shades, or the Metallic Mineral Intrecciato Boudoir Knot.
They are all exquisite, very elegant and feminine, beautifully
designed.
