The designer told Vogue.com that: “Punk was the last movement that really combined music, style, and attitude, and I wanted to translate that for today. It’s elegant and glamorous, but it’s not perfect, because, you know, women can’t always be perfect”. The Versace fall 2013 collection brought exotic prints back into the spotlight, with fabulous accents of fur and even vinyl. A few fetishistic vibes with a subversive allure could also be spotted. The abstract appeal of geometric motifs wasn't completely left aside as the brand used it to make its daring designs classy and appealing to a wider audience.

Though boldness was the initial impression, at a closer inspection, the Versace fall 2013 collection abounds in feminine pieces which exude sexiness. As always, body conscious designs were the focus of the new line. Sexy cutouts made the new options even more daring highlighting the theme even better. The new Versace fall 2013 collection used spikes, chains, studs and even nails liberally for a fab effect bold effect that left no room for doubts as far as the theme of the new line.

Since the Versace fall 2013 collection impressed through fab alternatives which drew attention through their very nature due to the texture and proportional contrasts, the need for accessories was fairly diminished.
