The incredible spectacle of elegance in the Valentino spring 2013 collection was put together by designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli. Behold Valentino's sublime new collection!
With Paris Fashion Week coming to an end, excitement ran high
while waiting to discover what else fashion designers had up their
sleeve as so far the fashion presentations took either an
extravagant turn to style or went too clean with casual designs.
However, the wait paid off as the moment Valentino unveiled its spring
2013 collection, our hearts melted.
Valentino's creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo
Piccioli opted for the most elegant lines and most delicate fabrics
for the brand's spring 2013 collection and the result was just
divine. Valentino is a name synonymous with refinement and this
collection is proof that it wasn't by chance the brand was linked
to this particular characteristic.
The brand's attention to detail, use of classic lines that
underline femininity and elegance in addition to the irreproachable
demonstration of embroidery skills, helped push the brand across
boundaries to the point it has become one of the most important
fashion brands of the world.
For the spring 2013 season, designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier
Paolo Piccioli chose Rome as they remember it as the inspiration
for the Valentino collection and it seems that they recall a city
in which simplicity, exquisite details dominated the scene. The
designers exploited the need for classic simple lines this season,
but gave the designs a Pricess-like allure, through the fabrics and
patterns used.
From elegant slightly above the knee cut skirts and dresses to chic
trenches, elegant jumpsuits, sexy shorts-oversized blazer ensembles
and maxi dresses, the collection's featured all the fashion pieces
that deserve to make their way to a true lady's wardrobe, so if
you're into simple designs, opt for the soft and subtle
slipdresses, if you're more of a casual type of girl, choose a cool
and trendy jumpsuit or pant/sheer blouse mix or if you're an all
glamor girl, opt for the simple maxi gown or the exquisitely
embroidered dresses and skirts that made jaws drop at the brand's
fashion presentation.
From start to finish, the collection was worthy of praise, so
browse through the complete collection and draw inspiration for
your new season look if iconic is the style you're aiming for!
