Umit Benan's latest collection for Trussardi has been unveiled at Milan Fashion Week! Have a nosey at the wide range of sharp, well-cut silhouettes!
The Trussardi fall 2013 collection has been displayed at
Milan Fashion Week and we must admit it was a beautiful surprise to
see that Umit Benan used the brand's famous heritage in order to
create some modern, uber-voguish goodies. So yes, utilitarian is
calling! The house's famous designer brought a range of
urban-meets-country pieces that drew the attention through their
impeccable tailoring. Well, Benan is in fact a menswear designer
and this can easily be seen in his sharp cuts as well as in the
flawless workmanship and the unmistakable fit.
The highlight pieces in the new Trussardi fall 2013 collection?
Outerwear, of course! Umit Benan's ability to create sophisticated
and well-cut silhouettes was obvious in those double-breasted and
masculine-inspired coats oozing maximum elegance and sharpness.
Well, besides those stunningly chic mannish coats, the latest
Trussardi fall 2013 collection also featured some cool
jackets and elegant blazers, silk jumpsuits, leather pantsuits,
tops as well as chiffon pleated knee-length skirts and calf-length
dresses. Umit Benan plays with volumes and contrasting lengths. And
yes, some of these looks can be a great choice for a day at the
office. What can be more office-appropriate than a trench coat
teamed with a top, pants and a pair voguish ponyskin loafers?
The Trussardi fall 2013 collection was chic and elegant perfectly
mixing femininity and masculinity. The color palette featured
mostly black, white, blue, brown, beige but also animal prints and
checked. Leather, wool velour, silk, chiffon, velvet and ponyskin
were the textures used by Umit Benan in order to design these
statement-making pieces. The outfits were completed by loafers,
boots and covetable bags. So, if you're looking for some
professional appeal and a little inspiration for your workwear,
check out the new Trussardi fall 2103 collection!
