The designers from Topshop have surely drawn
inspiration from various muses for the Unique spring 2012
collection. The label features designs which have Elizabeth Taylor
as “Cleopatra” imprinted on as well as '80s inspired and urban
styles upgraded presented during London Fashion Week.
Variety is definitely a plus when it comes to fashion as this way you can definitely find a style that suits your personality and mood perfectly.
Topshop Unique has brought into attention retro details once again, details that are definitely giving a new meaning to streetwear. From super feminine to sporty, the designs scream 'look at me!', so prepare for an explosion of diversity that is in perfect sync with the hottest tendencies in fashion today.
The collection was introduced by graphic print, urban style outfits that joined baggy hip-hop items with skin revealing details such as cut out shorts, followed by feminine dresses and Egyptian print items that were all about bringing back the energy street fashion once used to exude.
From track suits to form fitting midi and short dresses, cool stripe cut-out shorts, sheer detail items, stylish trousers and skirts, the collection looked fabulous and brought back fun and flirty designs that can truly make a statement. Metallic, simple and sheer fabrics emphasized even further the urban-chic style of the collection while the graphic motifs and Elizabeth Taylor in “Cleopatra” prints gave more depth to the cultural approach of the designs.
Since color plays a very important role in fashion, Topshop Unique designers have placed a heavy accent on timeless hues such as black, grey and white or beige, but you can also observe splashes of warm tones such as blue, soft pink and gold.
This is a very interesting fashion collection that is a perfect match for fashionistas that want to make a statement, so take a peek at the new designs and pick your new season favorites!
