It seems that the designer chose a more casual approach to fashion this resort 2013 season as an array of sporty elements have made it to the fashion scene only not in raw form but revamped to match the label's vision of fashion. Relaxed yet feminine and with a little bit of an edge seem to be the best words to describe Tibi's collection and since a picture is worth 1000 words, the designer chose to present her pre spring 2013 creations in an intimate scenery, with just the model, the photographer and a few others rather than opting for a big catwalk presentation.

Tibi has always been a label that concentrated on wearability and this characteristic is highly visible in the brand's resort 2013 collection as stylish pullovers, classic cut trousers, flirty skirts and pretty dresses dominated the collection. Variety is the buzzword in fashion and this must have element wasn't missed from the designer's mind as not everyone benefits from the same styles, so the designer included sporty as well as chic, cocktail perfect garments into her collection.

Underlining the relaxed, comfy style of the collection, Ms. Amy Smilovic revamped the look of the mesh textile that was until recently only available to sport-wear companies such as Nike and Adidas, and turned the intense blue mesh into a stylish shirt and matching skirt ensemble that is bound to make heads turn. Besides the pullovers paired with stylish classic pants or skirts and pointy-toe pumps, the collection also shed light on masculine inspired suits and super flirty dresses that ranged from edgy-chic to classic-elegant. The edginess was not brought through the lines but through the edgy prints such as paint-drip details and lobster prints that looked absolutely perfect.

As far as the color palette goes, Tibi based its designs on a limited color palette, thus keeping the garments looking fresh and fabulous through the use of white, blue, red, black and a touch of bold neon green.
