Target and FEED founder Lauren Bush Lauren have teamed up for a lifestyle collection that features over 50 items. The FEED USA Target collection for 2013 includes fashion items and accessories, sporting goods, cookware, home décor items and even stationary. All the products in the collection will benefit the FEED USA organization.
The goal for the FEED USA + Target collection is an extremely ambitious one according to Lauren Bush Lauren and seems to be the largest one of its kind so far:
“As the founder of FEED, I am passionate about the fight against hunger and am thrilled to partner with Target to create our first ever co-branded lifestyle collection. Through product sales, we hope to provide 10 million meals to Americans in need, which would make it the largest U.S. initiative in FEED’s history. I am proud that we will be able to empower guests to make a measurable impact through the purchase of the FEED USA + Target collection.”
To give shoppers a better understanding of the impact that purchasing one or more items from the collection will have, each item of the new collection will feature the number of meals that will be donated to the organization . The offer is beyond generous Pillows, canvas totes, foldable bikes and bike helmets, playing cards, tees and tank tops for men and women, laundry baskets, backpacks, stoneware pans, cookie cutter sets, wrap bracelets, scarfs and many more items are included in the latest Target FEED USA collection for 2013.
Given the grand variety of alternatives the new collection brings, the price range varies accordingly. Nonetheless, the prices start at $3, while the most expensive alternatives will be retailing for $400. In other words, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference at every income level. Besides, what better excuse to justify a shopping session than doing something good? The Target + Feed USA collection will become available starting with June 30.
