Boy oh boy, these are some seriously hot goodies! Check out the
latest Stylestalker 'Bunny's Day Off' lookbook and discover a riot
of to-die-for pieces for summer 2013. "This season we were inspired
by 1960s playboy. We channeled the ultimate sex-kitten, Brigitte
Bardot. Bunny is innocent, mysterious and alluring all at once. The
desire of men and women alike, she exudes a casual, disheveled
sexiness," the duo behind the brand explained.
The collection features some achingly lovely stunners, broidery
anglaise, dainty lace, pastels and prints. Speaking about the
Stylestalker girl, the two designers said in an interview with
Karma Loop Ladies that, "It's all about the attitude. It's for a
confident girl, I think. It's someone who doesn't give a damn and
would wear a really pretty dress with a really tough jacket and
some bizarre shoes. The girl that wears us has to be confident and
fun."
But what's the story behind Stylestalker, the lovechild of
Sue-Ann San and Rachel Zeilic? "We wanted to turn out traveling and
shopping and internet addiction into a business," the duo told Foam
magazine. The result? Well, just have a nosey at the brand's
'Bunny's Day Off' lookbook and see it for yourself! We were
completely hooked with the label's lust-worthy offerings!
On the design process, the two revealed in the interview with Karma
Loop Ladies that, "We start by coming up with a story or theme,
then we do loads of research-books, films, vintage pieces, raiding
our friends closets - then we pick the colors and [prints] and
design all the pieces. After that we pick the fabrics, make the
samples, and visit our factory. We hand over the collection to our
sales agents who sell it to the shops. Then it all goes into
production and gets delivered. Most people are surprised to hear
the whole process takes about 10 months."
