Dramatic, intriguing, seductive... this is how the new looks from Roberto Cavalli collection were best described by. See the best looks presented at this Milan Fashion Week edition.
The new Roberto Cavalli fall 2013 collection felt
surprisingly spectacular even without the signature wild prints
which have been the trusted staple so far. The line featured a
multitude of dark and sexy looks which exuded femininity and
sophistication. The looks still carried the seductive vibes usually
associated with the brand's designs but in a more subdued manner
which put the amazing craftsmanship in the spotlight. The Roberto
Cavalli fall 2013 collection was inspired by the artwork of
designers like Caravaggio and Rubens.
Baroque inspiration, romantic vibes, luxurious touches blended
beautifully throughout the line in a multitude of modern outfits.
Dresses were the most spectacular alternatives from the newest
Roberto Cavalli fall 2013 collection. The new collection was meant
to exude “a captivating and sensual armor effect” which definitely
helps explain the multitude of fab accents which intrigued at the
newest presentation. Prints-wise, the options ranged from abstract
and elaborate to subdued yet exciting with a floral touch being
beautifully included in the new season alternatives.
Aside from the multitude of amazing gowns that stole the
spotlight, there were plenty of eye-catching elements that put an
even more refined touch on the new looks. The jewelry choices
showed a clear preference for the same type of dramatic yet classy
vibe that dominated the rest of the looks. Necklaces weren't used a
strong focal point in and of themselves, but as a way to add a
sophisticated vibe to the new season looks without being over the
top.
The Roberto Cavalli fall 2013 collection also confirms the
essential role fur is going to play in the fall 2013 trends. Few
accents have the opulent allure that fur trims have, which means
that the new season will be marked by a multitude of fab
alternatives which all revolve around well established motifs and a
dramatic chromatic palette which carries a sense of drama and
edginess that is immediately noticeable.
