Rachel Zoe is definitely one of the most influential names in the fashion industry. So, we're extremely excited to see what the stylist-turned-designer will showcase at New York Fashion Week 2013! Until then, check out some of her hottest looks!
At this point, we're thrilled to announce you that New York
Fashion Week 2013 begins on February 7. Out hearts go pitter-pat
just at the thought that runways will be filled with an impressive
range of stunners delivered by some of the most renowned designers
in the world. And Rachel Zoe is definitely one influential name in
the fashion industry.
Stylist, editor and designer, Rachel Zoe launched her eponymous
contemporary collection for the fall 2011 season
describing it as "uptown chic and downtown cool infused with
Parisian elegance and London street style." Inspired by her style
icons from the 60s and 70s, the line featured vintage fabrics,
separates, footwear and covetable handbags. "I've been
subconsciously building this collection in my mind for a long
time," Zoe said. "There are a million vintage pieces that have
inspired me, and every other designer in the world."
After making her debut in 2011, Rachel came back with her second
collection. The designer's resort 2012 line had a 70s flare, Zoe
playing with color, prints, and with proportions a little bit. For
her spring 2012 ready-to-wear collection the key words were 'easy
glamour', while the fall 2012 pieces took us back in time due to
their retro rock touch.
Jane Birkin and Talitha Getty were Zoe's main muses for her
spring 2013
collection. The stylist-turned-designer showcased some
effortlessly chic goodies revealing once again her own version of
the 70s. As for her pre-fall 2013
collection, we must admit we're head over heels with those
urban, tomboyish yet surprisingly elegant and feminine looks.
Rachel Zoe, who has been named by MSN.com one of the “10 Most
Influential Women of 2006, will present her fall 2013 collection at
New York Fashion Week on February
13 at the STUDIO.
