Check out the new Narciso Rodriguez collection featuring clean cuts, chic silhouettes and interesting combinations of colors!
The new Narciso Rodriguez fall 2013 collection had as
starting point a Lygia Clark exhibition at the São Paulo Biennial.
"I came back and everything in my life was about color and asking
how do you mix color in interesting ways, which is sort of a
different road for me," the designer explained. Known as the master
of clean cuts, Rodriguez showcased effortlessly chic silhouettes at
New York Fashion Week this year. “My design is very clean, and the
quality really shines when you take away the gimmicks,” he told in
an interview with WWD in 1997.
Don't you just love fashion weeks? Ah, we definitely do! As usual,
we have the chance to take a peek at the latest trends and get an
idea on what to stock up on throughout chilly fall days. Okay, so
we know we're still waiting to enjoy warmer temperatures yet it's
never too early to see what the hottest trends will be. Rodriguez
brings never-seen-before designs without losing his identity. And
we bet his devotees are completely into the designer's offerings
for the upcoming cold season.
For fall 2013, Narciso Rodriguez designed an array of chic and hip
goodies characterized by a minimalist aesthetic. There are sharp
and slightly severe shapes and a color palette that includes black,
white and brown as well some eye-catching hues such as orange, teal
and emerald. Oh, and let's not forget to mention that uber-stylish
colorblocking that Rodriguez seems to really know how it works. And
the result is elegant and cool! Absolutely fabulous!
It is said that his secret ingredient is shape and we completely
agree with this. And the new Narciso Rodriguez fall 2013
collection totally sustains this statement. The line features
versatile pieces and some oh-so-hip accessories such as cap-toe
pumps and structured leather clutches. There are gorgeously
tailored cigarette pants, bustiers, tunics, jackets and coats, and
sleeveless trapeze dresses. So, with our attention firmly focused
on the runways at New York Fashion Week, we're ready to draw
inspiration from the hottest combos spotted and give a mega boost
to our wardrobes!
