Check out the latest Mulberry collection showcased at London Fashion Week and get ready for some cheeky English humor with a stylish grown-up touch!
Have you gorgeous dolls seen the latest Mulberry fall 2013
collection showcased at London Fashion Week? We had a look and
totally loved it! Why? Because it's filled with a wide range of
uber-stylish piece and a versatile color palette featuring mostly
black, white and brown. Ah, and that traditional tweed and
oh-so-cool silhouettes!
"Jane How [stylist] started off playing around with the looks and
we thought it looked really good. We've made trousers the new
tights," said creative director Emma Hill backstage after the show.
"In the Nineties we were both rocking that look the first time
round so we had a good laugh over it."
The Mulberry fall 2013 collection included loads of tweed
and checks. Pretty cool, isn't it? Modern and traditional were
blended in a unique way resulting in some really voguish goodies
with a cheerful, fun yet chic feeling! “There’s still a cheeky
English humor with the woodland animal prints, but it’s more
grown-up, I’m more grown-up,” Emma Hill said.
Key pieces in the latest Mulberry collection for the upcoming
cold-weather season? Definitely outerwear! Trust us, those beauties
don't just look comfy but extremely fashionable as well! Just have
a nosey and see it for yourself! There were rich textures, leather
and tweed used in order to create pieces that can take us through
awfully chilly days in style. So, imagine coats of brown and green
tweed plaid and cozy jackets for a wow-worthy appearance!
Okay, so besides an array of outerwear pieces, the Mulberry
collection also featured leather tunics with bell sleeves and
peplums, cropped flared pants, skater skirts, oversized puff
sleeves, mohair jumpers, elbow length leather gloves, chunky heels,
and the vintage-inspired maxi doctor's bag as the ultimate
accessory. Still, the star seems to remain Max the poodle. "He kept
running off to look at himself during the fittings the other
night,' Emma Hill said.
