The Miu Miu spring 2013 campaign gathers big names in the industry and puts classy and feminine alternatives in the spotlight. Have a glimpse!
For spring 2013, Prada and consequently Miu Miu pull out the big guns. The
spring/summer 2013 fashion choices are not only designed to reflect
the classiness with a subtle playful touch the labels are renowned
for but also big names from the industry as far as the models are
concerned. Miuccia Prada has rounded up big names like Doutzen
Kroes, Adriana Lima, Arizona Muse, Malgosia Bela, Bette Franke,
Martha Hunt and Tamara Weijenberg ensured all of them showed their
charm and charisma in the new campaign shot by Inez and
Vinoodh.
With such a stellar cast, the new ads are predictably fun to look
at and the classiness of the new looks shines through in each and
every shot. The label seems to have completely abandoned the
preference for eclecticism we saw in the spring 2012
collection for a much more refined allure that is sure to
cater to a much larger group of fashionistas. The color palette is
also much better defined and the less is more strategy definitely
has the desired impact on the looks.
Gorgeous dresses and skirts are seen as the spring 2013 fashion
must-haves and thus there is a variety of styles to choose from.
Still, it's fairly obvious that all the emphasis on geometry that
has been embraced wholeheartedly by the label as most combos have
extremely well defined proportions create a high impact and shatter
the romantic touch we often associate with such alternatives. The
powerful touch the combos deliver is a far cry from the 'damsel in
distress' often portrayed in fashion campaigns.
Statement lovers, don't be afraid to take advantage of the power of
oversized pieces to get fab outfits that simply demand attention.
The label shows us how it can be done for a classy effect.
Oversized coats with minimalistic masculine touches are almost
always a safe bet for a complex look that is bound to leave quite
an impression and that can consolidate your trendsetter
status.
