Check out the glamorous tongue-in the-cheek Diet Coke campaign featuring Mark Jacobs and Ginta Lapina.
The new Marc Jacobs Diet Coke ads are out! After last year's
Jean Paul Gaultier for
Diet Coke campaign, this year it was Marc Jacobs' turn to show
his personality and create a catchy campaign. The Marc Jacobs Diet
Coke campaign show's the designer's playful side. The new ads are
part of the “Sparkling Together for 30 Years” campaign and have
been photographed by Stéphane Sednaoui. The brand's anniversary in
Europe is marked by the new campaign which will break out on
numerous European markets this year and which is surprisingly fresh
and interesting.
For the new campaign, Marc Jacobs has enlisted the help of Latvian
model Ginta Lapina for a fun campaign which has a distinguishable
90s vibe. With the designer himself starring in the campaign, it
was clear that the new Diet Coke ads would be fun and the
designer didn't disappoint. The festive occasion was celebrated
with fancy designs and a clear festive tone with plenty of
interesting poses which showed outside of the box thinking on the
behalf of Marc Jacobs, who was named as creative director earlier
this year.
Each of the three new bottle designs shown in the new Marc Jacobs
for Diet Coke ads represent different decades in fashion and they
all have elegance as the common denominator. The success of the new
Marc Jacobs for Diet Coke campaign is already extremely predictable
if we consider the fact that a short film posted on the Diet Coke
Youtube channel gathered over 230 000 views. With the playful new
ads recently displayed it's fairly easy to understand why.
The three bottles presented in the Marc Jacobs for Diet Coke ads
are sold as a set and are on sale this month. Print placements of
the new campaign will appear in important fashion magazines from
the UK such as Glamour, Company, Elle, Marie Claire, InStyle,
Cosmopolitan and Stylist. Given the past designer collaborations,
the new campaign will definitely turn into a great success.
