For the new season, designer Manish Arora opted to stray from
the path followed by most fashion designers and chose to take a
totally unique approach with his spring 2013 collection. The
designer is known for the innovative, unique patterns and shapes
used in his collections, but it seems that for the spring 2013
season Manish Arora decided to explore the vast world of ideas and
take inspiration from various places.
Mermaid meets Madagascar meets urban glamor girl seem to be the
main themes that stand out from first glimpse at the collection and
these interesting, clashing elements create a very distinct, eye
catching style that some labeled as a bit too brave. However, the
unique manner the fabrics were layered, the interesting shapes and
exquisite color pattern make this collection addictive from start
to finish.
The combination of old meets new elements added even more style
to the bold collection, making it a perfect choice for the ladies
that are not afraid of testing the power of opulent designs. The
lines featured in the collection underlined casualness and
femininity, making it perfect for the comfort loving sweethearts,
as with garments that seemed to be inspired from salwar kameez with
the pieces being accessorized separately, to stylish skinny fit
trousers, scale-like leggings, origami-looking blouses and chic
deux-pieces the collection featured all the elements a fashion
forward diva should own in her spring 2013 wardrobe.
The sensational coloration of the collection is definitely
characteristic to the designer, as Manish Arora has been playing
with metallic, multi-chromatic fabrics for the past couple of years
and because this spring season glamor elements have been big, the
designer went wild with pigments and prints. From fabulous
irresistible warm pastels to elegant black garments, the designer
chose the most feminine color palette to add elegance to his
designs. Fabulous tones of light pistachio green, turquoise, light
orange, lavender tones and plenty of gold tones gave the collection
a vibrant, fun and energetic appeal.
The prints were apparently inspired from Madagascar as from stylish
lion head prints to tiger head prints and leopard prints to chic
antique dangling jewelry motifs, the collection was filled with eye
catching elements that made sure to keep the collection out of the
boring zone.
Definitely not for the faint-hearted, the spring 2013 fashion
collection signed Manish Aurora is worth all our admiration as each
design reveals the sublime craftsmanship and color mixing talent of
the designer, so check it out and find the elements that will make
you stop traffic this upcoming spring!
