Lulu Guinness for Uniqlo T-Shirt Collection

Allow us to introduce the newest super-cool line of tees created by famous British designer Lulu Guinness for high street fashion store Uniqlo. "I have always liked the simplicity of Uniqlo products," she said. "The brand chooses intelligent collaborations with designers and I respect their innovation."

Guinness confessed at the launch of the UT collection for Uniqlo that she is absolutely excited about the collaboration. "We received a call out of the blue and I was absolutely thrilled as I am such a huge Uniqlo fan so incredibly aware of the brand and their customer - I jumped at the opportunity, we have a lot of support in Japan so a great collaborative project - my Lulu Guinness UT collection was the biggest seller in the new Uniqlo Ginza store," she said.

The Lulu Guinness for Uniqlo t-shirt collection is fun and feminine and it features the brand's most iconic prints and images. There are red lips, cat eye shades, playful kittens, London landmarks and Queenie cameos and the classic Lulu Guinness color palette of black, white and lipstick red that adds that special 'Lulu glamour'. The chic goodies in this 14-piece line are sold for $19.90 each.

Speaking about the design of these oh-so-lovely tees, the designer said that, "I wanted the Uniqlo UT collaboration to follow my mainline handbag collection as much as possible, so that it truly represents the Lulu Guinness brand. I looked at my main icons, and also my inspirations for the Lulu Guinness spring/summer 2012 collection, and pulled together my favourite designs which I then worked into the T-shirt design. My iconic lips were important as was my Cameo and my favourite print, Doll Face which was inspired by Peggy Moffitt."
