Loewe at Paris Fashion Week Fall 2013

Loewe will be revealing their new collection at Paris Fashion Week! Ah, but we hardly wait to see what the famous brand has prepared for its devotees and all the worldwide fashion lovers!

Loewe will reveal their latest fall 2013 collection at Paris Fashion Week in a show that we hope will be spectacular as always. The Spanish brand became famous for the iconic Amazona bag that has remained contemporary for over quarter of a century passed from mother to daughter. Oh, and we cannot forget the leather and suede clothing which gets better the more it is worn and those beautiful silk scarves.

In 2008, Stuart Vevers was named Loewe's creative director bringing a new flare to the brand's aesthetic without forgetting its gorgeous heritage. For the spring 2011 collection, Vevers brought a zillion of colorful and uber-joyful goodies, perfect for sunny days. The designers seemed to have aa lot of fun putting together the cheerful line explaining that “the time is just right for it. It's Spring.”

Well, the Loewe fall 2011 collection was filled with classic pieces with a cool twist. "A balance of the classical beauty that Loewe is known for, with some of my edge," Stuart Vevers said. There were button-up vest, tops, A-line skirts and dresses, but also a wide range of bags ranging from maxi evening clutches and bowler bags to mini case bags.

Boy oh boy, Loewe's creative director certainly knows how to choose his sources of inspiration! For the brand's spring 2012 collection, Vevers had as starting point the work of Dutch artist M.C. Escher. The result? A kaleidoscope of amazing prints, lizards and cut-out leather goodies.

In his press notes for the Loewe fall 2012 collection, Stuart Vevers said that, “We were particularly looking at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art in Jerez; that masculine world ofhorsemanship, but also those elements contained within it that are really thought of as more feminine.” So, we pieces made almost entirely in black wool and leather with a highly modern and urban flare.
Well, proving once again that he loves to have with fashion, Vevers picked Gala Dalí as source of inspiration for Loewe's spring 2013 collection having a Spanish feeling.
