Besides the lovely detailing, Lauren Conrad's Paper Crown spring
2013 collection includes some nautical-inspired elements such as
stripes, sailboat prints and navy blues. The color palette also
features champagne, rose, coral, peach, mint and indigo. Oh, and
let's not forget those beautiful lace items adding a flirty and
sexy feel! The pieces are modern and seem to reflect Lauren's
personal style. But who inspires her? Does Lauren have any fashion
“There’s not one person that I say I want to look like. When we’re pulling up photos for inspiration, we tend to pull photos from years and years ago. We’re more likely to pull a photo of Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot as opposed to something off a website from today,” Lauren told stylecaster.com.
On her future plans, Lauren said in an interview with the Huffington Post that, “I continue writing, designing for LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls and Paper Crown, and also running my website, LaurenConrad.com. I am also really proud of my sustainable bag line called XO(eco). It's a combo of really cute beauty and lunch bags that are also good for the planet!”
