Designer Alber Elbaz sure knows how to take one concept and transform it into something entirely different. With sportswear as inspiration, the designer has achieved the perfect balance between elegance and comfort and the sophisticated touch that his designs carry is immediately noticeable. Take a look at some of the best designs from the spring 2012 collection.
Sophistication with a minimalistic yet luxurious touch is the
style ideal behind the spring 2012 Lanvin collection presented
at the Paris Fashion Week. Despite
the obvious inclination towards refined attire options, the
designer has chosen the concepts behind sportswear for a classy yet
easy to wear collection that resonates well with the concepts that
the brand has imposed over the years.
Minimalism, well defined and rather subtle cuts, asymmetry and a
fairly conservative touch in terms of color palette best define the
looks presented. Golden tones are practically synonym with luxury
and some of the looks carried this refined allure exuding sexiness
and sophistication and added a fun touch to the collection. Jewelry
was an important detail in making the outfits stand out and
statement necklaces were the ideal choice for the looks
presented.
Aside from jewelry, accessories do not have an
essential role in defining the outfits, being fairly simple and
straight forward. Simple strappy sandals, geometric clutches and
retro sunglasses are a few of the accessory choices used to
complete the outfits presented. Simple yet not simplistic, refined
yet not over the top, the latest Lanvin collection impresses
through its fabulous modern touch.
