Kate Moss is finally allowing people to take a glimpse at her dream wedding as she shares intimate photos from her wedding in Vogue September 2011 issue. Get more details next!
Supermodel Kate Moss has been enchanting us with her
natural beauty for decades and she still manages to take our breath
away as she covers Vogue's September 2011 issue. Her grace and
elegance as well as simplicity has helped Kate Moss maintain a firm
position among the hottest women on the Planet and when she decided
to wed Jamie
Hince, everyone wanted to take a peek at her dream wedding.
After the wedding ceremony, Kate Moss is finally revealing some
details as she shares some of her intimate wedding pictured with
Vogue September 2011.
Kate Moss decided to tie the knot to guitarist Jamie Hince from the
well known band the Kills, after a 2 year relationship. Apparently,
Jamie Hince has proposed to Kate Moss while on a trip to Thailand,
but it was in frot of the TV, watching the series 'Big Fat Gypsy
Weddings' that Kate Moss decided that they should unite their
destinies.
Apparently, Kate Moss is just in love with the gipsy style as
she tells Vogue that she accepted Jamie's proposal while watching
the television documentary; Kate said:
“I am so romantic about Gypsies. They’re not allowed to do anything
until they get married. So they all get married really young, at
sixteen. You can’t believe the dresses. They’re like blinging
butterflies times ten; they can’t move down the aisle! It’s so
genius. I was just watching Jamie, so cute, and I was like, these
girls, they just spend their whole life waiting for that day -let’s
do it!”
And since she is a model, Kate knows that pictures last a lifetime,
so she turned towards professional photographer Mario Testino for
help to create her wedding portfolio. The photoshoot has been done
one week before the wedding.
Kate Moss dreamed of an elegant wedding, so she asked her friend
Sam Gainsbury to help her materialize her vision. At first Kate
wanted her ceremony to take place at a gorgeous church from the
twelfth century, but because of lack of space they had to
reconsider and chose the St. Peter's Church in the neighbouring
village of Southrop. Kate tells Vogue that:
“I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is
soft-focus. The Great Gatsby. The code name was GG for a while.
That light and that kind of fun decadence. It’s rock-’n’-roll Great
Gatsby!”
Wearing a gorgeous vintage dress by John Galliano, Kate just dazzled in the
pictures surrounded by sixteen bridesmaids and flower girls.
Kate Moss' wedding dress was designed by
Galliano and said she wanted Galliano to design her dress
because she felt so comfortable in his dresses. She said she wanted
“a classic Galliano, those chiffon thirties kind. I’ve lived in his
dresses for years, and they just make me feel so comfortable. But
it’s so much more couture, couture, couture. Oh, my God, the work
that’s going into the dress!”
Everything looked amazing, a perfect romantic wedding day fit for a
princess, so check out the entire interview and the pictures in
Vogue September 2011 issue!
