The Kanye West x A.P.C collection is already here! Less than a week after the official announcement, the new capsule collection has already been unveiled. Featuring only eight pieces, the new line brings versatile pieces with a sporty allure. Though the collaboration might be surprising to some, the initiative is not as spontaneous as some might be tempted to think.

In fact, the label's creative director, Jean Touitou was like a mentor for the hip-hop artist: "I introduced him to the A.P.C. design studio, and he kept asking how he could start something in that fashion industry. This is when we all advised him to start that something in France, and keep quiet about fashion noise while learning about it. Over the months, we kept hanging out and finally came up with the idea of doing a small capsule collection of clothes together." Kanye was grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the French designer and tweeted: "Thank you Jean Touitou for letting me create with you." Though details were very scarce at the time, it was very clear that denim would be a part of the new line.

The new A.P.C x Kanye West collection features a low waisted raw Japanese denim style and a stonewashed pair of jeans, both featuring the 'A.P.C. KANYE' logo. The focus on high quality fabrics wasn't limited to jeans only. The two short sleeved T-shirts from the new line, black and white are also made from 100% Egyptian cotton. Three hooded sweatshirts complete the new line. The long sleeved hoodies are available in navy blue and dark navy tones. The light gray short sleeved hoodie has the front a little bit shorter than the back and has rough-cut short sleeves with unsewn cuffs.

The minimalistic sporty pieces reflect the spirit of the French label. The new Kanye West x A.P.C clothes have the following prices: $120 for T-shirts, $250 for the short sleeved hoodie, $265 for the jeans and $280 for the hooded sweatshirts.
