Wonderful architectural pieces defined the new J.W Anderson collection presented at this London Fashion Week 2013 edition. Check out the most impressive runway looks.
The London Fashion Week 2013 brought a fun mix of amazing looks
and different style perspectives. If some went over the top, others
like J.W. Anderson were more reserved and designed with
practicality in mind, without abandoning whimsical touches in the
process. The J.W Anderson fall 2013 collection proved a fun
mix which reflected the designer's love of symbols, being named
“Semiology of Self”. As a result there wasn't a single dull moment
in the newest line of the designer which recently unveiled a fun
collection in collaboration with Topshop.
At first, the looks proved fairly conservative and modern and as
the show progressed, the new looks became bolder and bolder
revealing a clear desire to reflect the season's hottest looks with
the geometric construction being in the spotlight. This London
Fashion Week 2013 edition brought a serious dose of lady-like
sophistication, so an opposite view feels fresh and super exciting.
For the gals who aren't afraid of incorporating some fun masculine
touches in their looks, oversized coats can be a great piece for
spicing up your new season looks.
Sporty vibes, asymmetry, leather and fab grafitti-inspired
prints were just some of the alternatives which stood out in the
J.W Anderson fall 2013 line. The focus on unexpected
proportions and spectacular details which stand out without too
much effort was the key to success adopted by the young designer.
Though leather pieces were used in abundance in the new season
collections , few designers went for leather based outfits which
impressed with their unexpected touches. The J.W Anderson fall 2013
collection, made a persuasive case for such fun outfits.
With all the focus on proportions and modern elements, contrast was
easily ensured and the formula for the perfect outfit seemed simple
enough. This is why the designer focused mostly on neutral tones
with a few accent colors thrown in. The need for accessories was
also drastically reduced, making the looks feel sharp and
spectacular in their own right. The result? Fab alternatives with
an edgy twist we'd love to see more of in the upcoming season.
