Jonathan Saunders channeled '50s vibes for the new collection presented recently during the London Fashion Week. See the show's most amazing pieces!
The Jonathan Saunders fall 2013 collection proved an
amazing blend of retro touches and boldness which instantly
mesmerized the audience. The designer joined the array of designers
which put lady-like elements in the spotlight for fall 2013. The
new looks had a distinguishable '50s vibe being dramatic and
interesting or lady-like and seemingly innocent. Still, the new
looks weren't created with modesty in mind. There were plenty of
occasions when the bold vibes were the main style intention for the
new season.
Despite the retro set of options which defined the line, the
Jonathan Saunders fall 2013 collection didn't ignore the
general trends direction altogether. The focus on the patent
leather effect was among the most accurate reflections of the
label's view on the latest fashion trends for fall 2013. The focus
on feminine looks is another defining element of the new season
which the new collection beautifully highlights. Instead of going
the traditional route of focusing on dark elements which have the
power to create a dramatic look, warmer tones were also part of the
focus.
Another thing that could be noticed instantly was the clear
focus on a multitude of monochrome pieces which were emphasized
through amazing textural and chromatic combos. When it came to
patterns, the Jonathan Saunders fall 2013 collection proved
fairly toned down as few elements were brought into the spotlight
and all focused on the abstract touch that seems to have been
preferred both during the New York Fashion Week and London Fashion
Week.
Though a sense of classiness prevailed, the designer played with
sheer touches quite a bit making some of the new season looks make
everyone want to take a second look. Many classy feminine vibes
seem to be the most accurate style recommendation for the new
season if we are to take into account the multitude of such looks
which stole the spotlight in the past few days becoming instant
stunners.
