Take a sneak peek at the latest Jil Sander collection showcased at Milan Fashion Week and discover an array of simple yet uber-chic and elegant pieces!
The new Jil Sander fall 2013 collection is filled with
minimalist pieces that prove once again that simplicity can indeed
look spectacular and utterly-chic. “High-carat femininity, graceful
and incorruptible,” Sander wrote in her program notes. Oh, and
those gorgeously designed and well-cut goodies definitely made our
hearts go pitter-pat! Absolutely awesome!
Jil Sander's show was held on a catwalk featuring the cut of a
diamond. "Diamonds can go either way," the famous designer
explained. "They can be cut in a very vulgar way or they can be the
most quietly beautiful of stones" Well, how cool is this? The line
included loads of wearable and versatile clothing pieces such as
jackets and coats, skirts, dresses, pants, and comfy knits.
Vigorously articulated tailoring; as structured as a gemstone, as
intriguing as moving shadows,” the program notes said about the
latest Jil Sander fall 2013 collection. And there were
indeed flawless cuts and perfect silhouettes in the designer's
cold-weather season line! Ah, and those coats were so beautifully
tailored and simply chic!
Masculine-inspired yet with a particular feminine flare, Sander's
outerwear looks extremely luxurious and sophisticated. The same
thing can be said about the designer's jackets.
Besides those clean and chic coats, the latest Jil Sander fall
2013 collection also includes strapless dresses, sweaters, midi
skirts and ankle-length pants. The color palette of the line
features go-with-everything black, brown and navy as well as
clementine, charcoals and electric blue. "I looked at Tibetan
colours and took it from there, " Jil Sander explained. The outfits
were completed by buckled shoes and uber-covetable bags. Have a
nosey and get inspired!
