So, are you denim lovers ready to begin your hunt for the perfect pieces to add to your cold-weather dressing? Well, you should know that J.Crew's line is rife with to-die-for goodies that can satisfy all your cravings. A new addition to the brand's denim collection is the Jenny jean, inspired by an iconic photo of one of Hollywood's most stylish screen sirens wearing her jeans on the beach in 1960. Crafted in Goldsign's LA-based denim studio, the Jenny was made to look and feel good and it oozes vintage sex appeal, thanks to a cropped, cuffed and high-waisted silhouette.

Goldsign's founder, designer Adriano Goldschmied, describes the new Jenny as being "in between a sexy jean and a boyfriend jean." It comes in two washes, a dark vintage and a lighter shade with a green cast, and it was originally inspired by a pair worn by Norma Jeane Baker in photographs taken by André de Dienes in the 1940s.
"Back then women were buying men’s jeans and rolling them up," Goldschmied explains. "I was in some way a little bit tired of the skinny that was born in L.A. and that’s been very successful. I was looking for what’s next. My way of designing is about starting from something that’s part of a tradition and not just replicating it but innovating through fabric, fit and wash."
