Isabel Marant unveiled her Spring 2012 collection at Paris Fashion Week. The famous designer showcased an extremely wearable and optimistic casual line featuring lots of knits, football tees, denim playsuits, track pants, but also sexy, body-hugging dresses.
Isabel Marant, designer of casual, stylish, effortlessly chic
looks, has showcased her spring 2012 collection at Paris Fashion Week. Featuring
fun knits, patchworks and old faithful denim pieces, the new line
addresses to adventurous girls who love to travel. "It’s very
optimistic. A suitcase packed by a girl who travels all over the
world. And she’s a bit crafty. She tie-dyes and patchworks, and
cuts up her sweatshirts to knit with! It’s a sunny-day
collection—for days like today," Isabel Marant said about her
spring/summer 2012
fashion collection.
Designed to capture the heart of the young, free and sexy girls,
the Isabel Marant spring 2012 collection provides comfort and
practicality, being highly wearable and fashion-forward. Renowned
for her casual dressing approach, Marant didn't disappoint the
audience. Models walked down the runway looking gorgeous in
ensembles that flawlessly mixed a sporty American vibe with a high
dose of Parisian chicness.
There were pastel patchwork denim pants and skinny jeans, retro anoraks and oversized
tie-dyed utility jackets, football T-shirts, track pants, denim
playsuits and loose fringed sweaters. Body-con Lurex and hot
knitted dresses brought the super-sexy, lavish touch to the
collection. The color palette included pretty pastels, pink, blue,
yellow, red, orange, but also black and white. The line also
featured ethnic patterns and snake prints, embroideries, tie-dye
and patchworks. All the ensembles were complemented by sandals with
silver chains at the ankle.
