Well, you should know that Heinui is the new project of French fashion designer Claire Pignot. The label creates charmingly quirky, highly feminine clothes that are effortless, easy-to-wear and quietly sophisticated, subtly mixing high-end materials carefully sourced from all around the world with timeless, casual silhouettes.
Who is Claire Pignot? Born in Toulouse, South of France, Claire Pignot graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris in 2004. After interning for Gaspard Yurkievich in Paris and Peter Som in New York, she moved to Barcelona in 2006 and created her own label called Cocotte, for which she designed and produced six collections. In 2010, she decided to focus on custom-made clothing and wedding dresses for a few years before returning with a new label in 2013. And we couldn't be happier since there are some statement-making pieces in her Heinui fall/winter 2013-2014 collection. Take a peek at the brand's lookbook and see it for yourself!
