Okay you girls, so we are still in the middle of summer but we definitely had to share with you the Garzón knitwear collection packed full with cozy, super-stylish goodies. Check it out!
Let's talk coziness today! Yes, comfy and warm goodies even
though we are still in the middle of summer! However, we stumbled
upon this super-cool collection and we were so excited to share it
with you. Well, photography agent Tiggy Maconochie has recently
launched the first line for her luxury knitwear label named Garzón.
It seems that the brand was called after one of the designer's
favourite places in Uruguay.
"The countryside in Uruguay is very elegant," she told Vogue UK. "A lot of designers go there to have their knits made, such as Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs. It's such beautiful, soft wool. This was about me communicating my love of the country and its knits in a different way."
Just have a nosey at these chunky stunners and you'll definitely find something to add to your cold-weather wardrobe. The collection includes jumpers, oversized cardigans, knit capes, but also lovely accessories.
Speaking about the beginnings of the line, Maconochie told Vogue UK that, "I was horse-riding and I called up these two knitwear designers I knew and said: 'How about it?' They agreed and that's how it started. Wool is seen as casualwear and I wanted to put elegance into it. Man has been wearing wool for the past 1,000 years, but it's still not celebrated. This is my way of rewriting the story. This is centred upon practical elegance."
