Check out the latest Francesco Scognamiglio collection and get ready to discover a parade of elegant, feminine and utterly chic pieces!
Francesco Scognamiglio's fall 2013 creations don't just
dress the body but they express real emotions. The famous
designer's fall 2013 collection unveiled at Milan Fashion Week had
as main source of inspiration Veronica Lake's 'Sullivan's Travels'.
There is a particular elegance and attitude specific to
Scognamiglio's designs that can be spotted in each of his lines.
“Elegance and beauty are complementary components of attitude. It
includes style and aesthetics. It's a way of being,” Francesco
Scognamiglio explained in an interview with NSSMAG.
For the upcoming cold-weather season, the worldwide renowned
designer proposes an utterly elegant collection filled with
feminine and ultra-chic goodies oozing classiness and
flirtatiousness. There are sexy dresses, skirts and tops, suits as
well as coats and capes.
As usual, Francesco Scognamiglio manages to create pieces
characterized by a never-seen-before sophistication. “My evolution
has been quite natural. I had never put a thread through the eye of
a needle. One day as I was 15, maybe, I got passionate watching a
tailor and… there I understood that the sound of a pair of scissors
and the feeling of some fabrics were part of my soul. I began
basting a jacket and then… sewing it and… as if by magic I started
a marvelous adventure that I still live today as the first day,”
the designer revealed in the same interview with NSSMAG.
Impeccable tailoring and a monochrome flare are the ingredients of
Francesco Scognamiglio's fall 2013 collection. The color
palette includes mostly black and white adding a timeless elegance
to the line. However, there are also nude hues and wild leopard
prints. Ah, but those dresses seen at the end of the show were sexy
and incredibly beautiful. The silhouettes, the colors and every
single detail amplified the sensuality of Scognamiglio's gowns.
Absolutely fabulous!
