Elisa Sednaoui was announced as the new face of the latest Roberto Cavalli fragrance. The beautiful Italian model and actress will appear in both print and television adverts set to be released in February 2012.
Roberto Cavalli announced
that gorgeous Elisa Sednaoui, niece of photographer Stephane
Sednaoui and the goddaughter of the French footwear designer
Christian Louboutin will be
the face of the new Cavalli signature fragrance. The beautiful
23-year-old Italian model and actress will be featured in the print
ad campaign photographed by Steven Klein set to be released in
February 2012. She will also star in the TV advertising which will
be made by Johan Renck.
The famous designer said that Elisa has an animal side and that she
is the perfect embodiment of the Cavalli woman. "Elisa is
self-confident and she has an amazing personality. She has this
animal side, she is enthusiastic, really sexy with a stunning body
and hypnotic eyes. She is the woman every woman would like to be,
so she is the real Cavalli woman," Cavalli said.
Moreover, Eva Cavalli described Elisa as being "beautiful, with a
stunning body and hypnotic eyes. The Cavalli woman is strong,
sensual and secure, knows exactly what she wants and can get it
immediately. There is something feline inside all of us; every
woman wants to be a bit of a tiger, a little wild. That’s one of
the reasons why Roberto loves animal print so much."
Coty Prestige senior vice-president international European
marketing Françoise Mariez added that, "Elisa is the Cavalli woman.
We couldn’t have made a better choice than her. She embodies all
the values of Cavalli: glamour, elegance and sexiness. She
definitely doesn’t go unnoticed."
Elisa Sednaoui appeared in the French film 'Bus Palladium,'
directed by Christopher Thompson. Some of her future films include
Davide Manuli’s Italian adaptation of 'The Legend of Kaspar Hauser'
with Vincent Gallo, and 'L’amour dure trois ans,' an adaptation of
Frédéric Beigbeder’s best-selling book. Besides, she appeared in
the Giorgio Armani
spring/summer 2011 advertising campaign and was chosen by Karl
Lagerfeld as face of Chanel's Plein Soleil eyewear
collection this spring.
On being Cavalli's new face, Christian Louboutin's goddaughter
confessed that she feels so fortunate and thankful. "I feel like I
have a tiger inside. I'm blessed and very grateful to have the
opportunity to be the face of the Roberto Cavalli fragrance, it's a
real honour," Elisa said.
The floral-amber Cavalli scent was composed by perfumer Louise
Turner of Givaudan. Its alluring orange blossom key notes that
express femininity, sensuality and extravagance making it very
Italian are perfectly completed by notes of Tonka bean, pink
peppercorn, vanilla absolute and benzoin.
Speaking about the new fragrance, Eva Cavalli said in a press
conference that, "This is so emotional for us, and I want to thank
Michele and the Coty team for everything they have done. It’s been
hard work, but also a lot of fun… We are very proud of this
fragrance."
