The Dsquared2 fall 2013 collection is one of the most
awaited shows at Milan Fashion Week! We're speaking, of course,
about the latest ! The famous fashion design duo, Dean and Dan
Caten, showcased some '40s-inspired looks oozing a particular
chicness. From elegant evening gowns to mannish tailoring, the
brand's new line proves that retro can indeed be fabulous. So, yes,
we were extremely excited to see what the designing twins prepared
for their devotees! Well, the result was pretty cool mixing some
gangster toughness with a little diva glam!
Boy oh boy, there were some really bold and statement-making combos
seen in the show Dsquared2 presented on the second day of Milan
Fashion Week on Thursday. Everything looked impeccably tailored
with silhouettes reminding us of a Hollywood movie scene.
Action!
There was something about the latest Dsquared2 fall 2013
collection that took us into a '40s mood. Well, the line included
retro-inspired goodies that looked super-elegant and sharp. Ah,
have you gorgeous dolls seen those feminine ensembles featuring
pencil skirts and belted jackets? There was a great deal to fall in
love with this season at Dsquared2. Those body conscious and
ladylike combos oozed a never-seen-before sex-appeal!
Well, one could easily see that the duo loves to make wearable
goods. “We're not those types of conceptual designers. We make
things we like, that our customers like, and that people actually
wear. There's loads of other designers who do that other thing. To
us, it's fashion: it's not reinventing the wheel, we're just trying
to make it roll a little better,” Dean and Dan told The
Guardian.
The Dsquared2 fall 2013 collection featured daytime pieces
like double-breasted suits, loose and elegant coats and blazers but
also evening-appropriate gowns. Well, it's masculine meeting
feminine in a special Dsquared2 version. Check it out and get
inspired!
