Fierce and sexy are the words that describe best the new Diesel Black Gold fashion collection unveiled at NYFW.
The Diesel Black Gold fall 2013 collection chose to
feature an extended version of the brand's previous 'Need For
Speed' collection only this time with even more chicness attached.
The reason for continuing the venture into the world of those
fascinated by vehicles with plenty of horse-power was apparently
the fun and bottomless bag of ideas that came along with the theme.
"I really liked what we created (the 'Need For Speed' collection)
so I wanted to give it a bigger platform", said Diesel Black Gold
designer, Andreas Melbostad, in a post-show interview with WWD on
February 12th.
The brand's current theme, 'American Biker', brought to the
podium an array of skintight dresses and molded to the silhouette
separates displaying impeccable tailoring and luxurious leather,
garments that have become a signature of the brand. The designs are
created having the confident, tough honeys in mind, fashionistas
that want to look fierce all-while dressing relatively simple.
Nothing too colorful, noting too flashy was featured in the
collection, just luxurious fabrics cut and sewn to gently caress
the skin and show off a woman's hypnotic silhouette. The result:
fantastic!
This is definitely a collection for the ultimate urban-chic divas
as the wonderful display of achromatic ensembles constructed using
biker jackets, skinny-fit trousers paired with simplistic tops and
masculine inspired blazers is quite difficult to resist and can
deliver quite the visual impact. Biker jacket inspired dresses,
quilted detail sweaters and impeccable studded signaled the
presence of punk-subculture details that attract attention like a
magnet, details that are definitely not for the fainthearted, so if
you think you can pull-off a dark and sexy outfit browse through
the new Diesel Black Gold fall 2013 collection and identify
the elements that almost bring the blood in your veins to a boil
and that will surely be in the foreground of your fall
wardrobe!
