Punk and romantic... Check out the latest Clements Ribeiro fall 2013 collection seen at London Fashion Week and get ready for some pretty-meets-tough looks!
Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro revealed the Clemens
Ribeiro fall 2013 collection at London Fashion Week. The
husband-and-wife designing team showcased the Clements Ribeiro
cold-weather line featuring a riot of super-cool, unexpected
playful combinations. There were some really jaw-dropping combos
that definitely mesmerized the audience. “We traveled a lot last
year,’ explained Ribeiro of their American road trip. “And then, of
course, we started looking into our vintage collections.”
So, the result was a spectacular fall 2013 collection chock full
with eye-catching patterns guaranteeing an instant wow-worthy
effect. Oh, and let's not forget those punk-inspired elements!
Still, one could also spot some romantic details adding the
feminine feeling to the line. Well, it was tough meeting soft in a
never-seen-before mix! And everything is absolutely fabulous!
Indeed, there were some uber-cute items such as floral dresses
and cashmere sweaters representing the bohemian part of the new
Clements Ribeiro fall 2013 collection. Ah, those prints were simply
stunning! Speaking about prints, Clements revealed that they
“always take the longest time to design. Everything starts with the
prints.” Their latest collection includes Mexican Chita floral
brocades and oversized poppies that could be seen on ladylike
silhouettes.
Besides a parade of beautiful flowers, the Clements Ribeiro fall
2013 collection also featured plaid, animal prints, and graphic
patterns. The line included feminine pieces such as dresses,
skirts, and chic cardigans as well as tougher items like biker
jackets and loose jumpers. Oh, and those comfy flat shoes and
pointy buckled booties! By the way, why this choice and not sexy
killer heels? “I can't do heels any more and I also happen to think
flats look fresher,” Clements said. So, check out the brand's
latest collection, get inspired and beat unfriendly temperatures in
style!
