Okay you girls, we just came across the latest Claire Pettibone 2012 ad campaign and had to share it with you! Why? Because it features some achingly lovely and fabulous bridal gowns that made our hearts skip a beat! Check it out!
We don't know about you girls, but weddings and bridal dresses
make our knees go weak. Indeed, it is true that we get butterflies
in our stomachs seeing a gorgeous, ethereal gown and we instantly
start dreaming of Prince Charming and the big day. And the new
Claire Pettibone bridal collection is a great source of
inspiration.
"When I design a collection I strive to make a woman feel as
special as the delicate creation she is wearing, take her to a
enchanted time and place where women are princesses and magnificent
goddesses. In today's modern world we need to pause and indulge in
beauty," the designer says.
Just have a nosey at the latest Claire Pettibone 2012 ad campaign
photographed by Elizabeth Messina who manages to beautifully
capture the essence of the line. "It is one thing to capture actual
emotional moments (as she does so brilliantly for the lucky couples
who book her for their weddings) but what makes Elizabeth so
remarkable is that she is able to 'create' moments on a set that
convey a real mood and feeling. Part of it is her technical skill,
part is her warm energy that brings out the best in her subjects,
and the third part is pure magic… that thing that others try to
imitate but it just comes out flat," Pettibone explained.
"She so perfectly captures the genuine beauty that I also strive to
share with the world, and every time I send her pieces to
photograph, I can’t wait to see the dreamy images that come back!
As she once said, 'my camera wants to date your lingerie!' well, my
gowns want to MARRY Elizabeth!"
Claire Pettibone brings once again some oh-so-chic and romantic
beauties and dreamy silhouettes using magical details and refined
fabrics, perfect for that unique moment in every woman's life. "It
has always been my desire to create exquisite feminine clothing
using the finest fabrics and precious details; to combine a vintage
feeling with modern style," the designer confesses. Check them
out!
