Chloë Moretz has been announced as new ambassador of American casualwear retailer Aéropostale and will star in the brand's ad campaign. In addition, the 15-year-old actress will put together some cool looks and will choose her favorite must-have items, available both in-store and online.
Lovely Chloë Moretz has
been announced as the new brand ambassador of American casualwear
retailer Aéropostale. "When we met Chloe, it really was an instant
love affair," said Scott Birnbaum, SVP of Aéropostale marketing and
e-commerce. "She has such great style, she can mix it up. She wears
great high-end designers and everyday stuff. We think she’s a role
model. She’s quirky and actually really funny, and those are things
our brand stands for."
Birnbaum also added that, "We know she will connect with our
customer. She’s extremely interested in fashion. She sits in the
front row at all high-end fashion shows. She’ll judge contests for
us and be the spokesperson for our Teens for Jeans campaign."
The campaign will begin with the 2012 back-to-school season and
continue through the spring of 2013. In this new role, the Dark
Shadows star and young fashionista will work with Aéropostale to
show off the brand's super-cool new looks, but she will also
promote the company’s philanthropic endeavors. Moreover, it seems
that customers can also shop for 'Chloe's Favorites', a curated
collection featuring the actress' personally styled looks and
favorite must-have items for each season, available both in-store
and online.
"I get my own section, I got to pull my own clothes. Girls can go
and see what I love and what I wear in the shoots," Moretz said.
"It’s a way for me to be in touch with girls," the 15-year-old
actress said.
