If you crave innovation when it comes to fashion, the new season will surely satisfy your needs as even the iconic British luxury brand, Burberry Prorsum went wild with both patterns and color for the spring 2013 season. Check out the label's new spring 2013 collection and tell us if you like it!
Excitement ran high at the unveiling of the latest fashion
collection signed Burberry Prorsum as the
brand's creative director, Christopher Bailey, chose to take a
totally different turn with his designs, pushing the brand into new
terrain. Burberry Prorsum meets 'Sex and the City' was the
impression left after watching the new spring 2013 collection
signed by the British luxury brand as the designer played with both
body hugging and curvy shapes, elements that were made to look bold
and sexy through the use of luxury fabrics and vivacious
pigments.
If you've been searching for something new when it comes to
fashion, the spring 2013 Burberry Prorsum collection definitely
packs a punch, as no more predominant nudes, no more simplicity and
definitely no more Burberry signature line pattern, making it a
perfect choice to consider when upgrading your wardrobe to the new
trends.
Although the brand did display a large selection of tits
trademark trench coats, the designs were given a little bit of a
twist through the fabrics used in the creation process as well as
through lovely, vibrant pigments. However, for those who are
seeking timeless classicism, Christopher Bailey created some
gorgeous white and nude trench coats that look flawless.
While only a 'handful' of the designs were kept simple and chic,
the majority of the designs seemed to follow the 'corsets and
capes' theme that was all about being bold and sexy. Gone are the
days of the boring pastels and nudes as the brand chose to explore
the vast world of color, mixing darks and brights, metallics and
monochromes, in a way that reminds us of the Gucci Spring 2011 bold
color mix collection, however with a totally unique allure. A fab
display of dusky deep green, orange, purple, hot pink, soft pink,
burgundy, azure, gold and sapphire tones mesmerized the
audience.
Apart from the obvious bold colors and Burberry Prorsum must have
trench coats, the collection featured a fabulous collection of midi
dresses and stylish 40s inspired pencil skirts, stylish satin
shorts, the season's definite must have, the shirt dress, shirts as
well as gorgeous blouses and corsets. The satin, the lace, the
silk, leather and feathers used in the creation process helped
underline the luxurious style the brand is known for, making it a
perfect choice if you want to invest in timeless, head-turning
pieces that are unique and that ooze femininity and style.
The different path the collection was stirred towards definitely
came as a breath of fresh air after a heavy on darks fall season,
so raid the collection and tell us if you think Christopher
Bailey's new approach to style conquered you.
