This spring 2013 season the fashion podiums were packed with contrasting elements that either exuded simplicity or opulence. The color palette featured in the collection was chosen to suit the theme, thus toned down, dusky tones of blue, lavender, pink, yellow, neutrals and achromatic tones dominated the collection. Prints are not as popular this spring as after a heavy in prints and embellishments fall season, the need for simple chicness is high and the designer chose to follow this trend and opt for predominantly monochromes. Occasionally stylish hearts, leopard prints and lines were introduced to wipe the boring out of the designs.
