French fashion label A.P.C. went vintage chic with the spring 2013 collection featured at the Paris Fashion Week, so browse through the fab designs and pick your faves!
French fashion label A.P.C. chose to take the same path to style
with its spring 2013 collection by turning towards vintage patterns
and details and the interesting manner these details are fused
makes A.P.C. special. The brand managed to find the recipe to
success as vintage inspired fashion designs have managed to capture
a high amount of attention from the public these past few seasons
and they're sticking to it fortunately.
This spring 2013 season the fashion podiums were packed with
contrasting elements that either exuded simplicity or opulence. Not
many designers chose to 'play it safe' and that proved to be quite
a mistake as some of the designs were more artistic or boring to be
perfect for the modern day divas. However, A.P.C. managed to find
the perfect recipe to success by opting to fuse vintage elements
with contemporary chicness and making the result ooze
wearability.
Perfect for the modern, urban girls who love to add a tad of
vintage appeal to their style, the brand's spring 2013 collection
is absolutely worth all your attention. Jean Touitou, A.P.C.'s
creative designer, revealed the fashionable garments featured in
the collection were inspired by a German nanny from 'sometime in
the seventies who doesn't mean to be sexy but is'. That subtle
touch of sex appeal is flawlessly infused in all the fashion pieces
that were presented, from start to finish.
The stylish designs included in the collection such as denim
pieces, classic-style jumpsuits, stylish halter dresses, pretty
plisse dresses, tucked in shirts buttoned up all the way, chic
trenches and lovely pullovers layered over contrasting color
shirts, fashion pieces that feel comfortable and that can be mixed
and matched to suit women with various style preferences from all
casual to feminine chic.
The color palette featured in the collection was chosen to suit the
theme, thus toned down, dusky tones of blue, lavender, pink,
yellow, neutrals and achromatic tones dominated the collection.
Prints are not as popular this spring as after a heavy in prints
and embellishments fall season, the need for simple chicness is
high and the designer chose to follow this trend and opt for
predominantly monochromes. Occasionally stylish hearts, leopard
prints and lines were introduced to wipe the boring out of the
designs.
Chic, stylish and feminine, the collection is worth every bit of
your attention, so browse through the fabulous designs and draw
inspiration for your spring 2013 style.
