Chic and powerful, Antonio Berardi's latest LFW fall 2013 collection will test your ability to resist temptation, so dare to browse through the lovely collection, next!
Antonio Berardi's fall 2013 collection presented at
London Fashion Week this month can be easily characterized by four
words: chic, structural, feminine and wearable! It seems that for
the fall season the designer chose to rely on the power of soft and
refined designs that appear to take on a few masculine elements
that were reinterpreted to suit the modern, business-chic divas.
This particular collection focused towards the modern, business,
power-woman niche and we absolutely have to add that the Antonio
Berardi woman might be a fashion editor considering the flawless
take on style displayed by each and every garment individually.
This fall 2013 season, fashion designers showing at the New York
Fashion Week and London's Fashion Week chose to bring either
vintage elements or masculine-inspired details to the podiums.
Antonio Berardi chose to take the last mentioned detail as
inspiration for his fall 2013 collection and it seems that these
elements really sparked his creativity as the lineup featured an
impressive number of 44 gorgeous designs!
The show opened with a super chic asymmetric cape paired with a
fabulous classic cut tweed dress and simplistic ankle booties.
Tweed was present also in the designs that followed the opening
garment, and the lovely display of tweed dresses, pants and coats
was spiced-up and given a touch of contemporary sexiness through
the use of mesh and other boldly printed fabrics that looked so
different and so, so chic! Next, soft plissé details and structural
lines made the delice of the collection. The designer chose classic
blazers and kept them either long or cut around the wist before
amping up their style by pairing them with chic skirts,
respectively impeccably tailored trousers to underline that
fierceness that contemporary women exude!
Switching the mood on ultra-feminine, Antonio Berardi revealed his
ability to revamp classic, chic dresses and boy did we have a blast
browsing through the myriad of form fitting dresses that screamed
contemporary sophistication. The mash-up of colors and fabrics from
which we have to mention the croc leather and the embellished tulle
which had luxury written all over, enchanted the eye of the
audience present at the fashion show, so be sure to take a peek at
each and every design featured in the lineup as each one has a
certain 'je ne sais quoi' that can sweep you off your feet!
Although most of the designs were displayed in a duo-chromatic
palette, Antonio Berardi did allow the power of monochromes to make
their presence felt in the lineup, so check out highlights of the
collection and tell us if you're a fan!
